The goal of marketers on social media is to get clicks over to their websites – engagement. The average engagement per post on Facebook is down 65% at this point. Instagram and Twitter are also down.

A study by RivalIQ, published in June 2020 showed engagement in all content channels down.

A report from TrackMaven found that as the amount of content produced rose 34%, the engagement decreased 17%.

What’s needed now are more inventive strategies, something I excel at. Since I was an art director at Chiat / Day, Saatchi, and Creative Director at Hill Holiday, I’ve always sought exponential results for my clients’ marketing investments.
